3、 Anothergroupofmodulesarelaidvertically,probablytofitbehindtherearseats.Thenewmodulesforthe30kWhpackispackagedas8cells,ina2P4Sarrangement.  (2inparallel,4inseries)Batterycellstraversingthemachinery.Eachcellisapouch,withtwotabsforthepositiveandnegativeconnections.Itlookslikethemachine

4、ryischeckingbatterycellvoltage–whichwouldbeanecessarysteptoweedoutbadcells.Batterycellsaretakenalongaconveyor,withvisualchecksperformedVisualcheckbeingperformed.Batterymoduleontheassemblyline.Wherethepreviousmodules(forthe24kWhpacks)hadsingle-heightmodules,thisisadouble-heightmodule.

5、Forcomparison,thisistheoldLeafbatterymodulewhichgoesintothe24kWhpacks.BatterymodulesundergoingvisualinspectionAnotherviewofthemoduleinspectionprocess.It’sclearfromthevideothemodulesareheldaloftbysuctionforce,sotheworkerscaninspectonallsidesandthebottom.Closeupofbatterymoduleduringins
