2、osecharacteristicsofthecorridorthatarephysicalevidenceofhistoricorprehistorichumanlifeoractivitythatarevisibleandcapableofbeinginventoriedandinterpreted.Thecorridor’sarchaeologicalinterest,asidentifiedthroughruins,artifacts,structuralremainsandotherphysicalevidence,havesomesignificancethated
3、ucatetheviewerandstiranappreciationforthepast.·Cultural–Evidenceandexpressionsofthecustomsortraditionsofadistinctgroupofpeople.Culturalfeaturesinclude,butarenotlimitedtocrafts,music,dance,rituals,festivals,speech,food,specialevents,vernacular,architecture,etc.,andarecurrentlypracticed.Thecul
4、turalqualitiesofthecorridorcouldhighlightoneormoresignificantcommunitiesand/orethnictraditions.·Historic–Theresourceencompasseslegaciesofthepastthataredistinctlyassociatedwiththephysicalelementsofthelandscape,whethernaturalorman-made,thatareofsuchhistoricsignificancethattheyeducatetheviewera
5、ndstiranappreciationofthepast.Thehistoricelementsreflecttheactionsofpeopleandmayincludebuildings,settlementpatterns,andotherexamplesofhumanactivity.Historicfeaturescanbeinventoried,mappedandinterpreted.Theypossessintegrityoflocation,design,setting,material,workmanship,feelingandassociation.·
6、Natural–Thosefeaturesofthevisualenvironmentthatareinanundisturbedstate.Thesefeaturespredatethearrivalofhumanpopulationsandmayincludegeologicalformations,fossils,landforms,waterbodies,vegetationandwildlife.Theremaybeevidenceofhumanactivity,butthenaturalfeaturesrevealminimaldisturbances·Recrea
