1、AbstractInrecentyears,withtherapidandmaturedevelopmentoftheultrashortpulsedlasertechnologyandthewidespreadapplicationsofcommerciallaserproduct,femtosecondlaserpulse,asanewtoolforthemicro/nano·machining,isattractingmoreandmoreattentions.Sofarithasbeensuccessfullyappliedinthepro

2、cessing,repairing,andmodifyingtheoutersurfaceandinteriorofmaterialsonthemicro/nanoscales,suchasmetals,semiconductorsanddielectricmedia,andsolvedsomekeytechnologicalproblemsinthepracticalapplications.Comparedwithtraditionalhyperfinemachiningtechnology,femtosecondlasermicromaehi

3、ninghasseveraladvantagesofthedirectwritingoperation,flexibility,time-savingandlowcost.Atpresent,thetechnologyoffemtosecondlasermicro/nano—machininghasbeenwidelyappliedinphysics,information,material,machineryandbiomedicaltreatmentandotherresearchandindustryfields.However,therea

4、restillmanyimportantproblemsnotyetfullyunderstoodinthistechnology:suchastheunderlyingphysicalmechanisms,therelatedultrafastkineticcharacteristics,aswellashowtoeffectivelycontrolthenano—scaleprocessingbehaviors.Inthisthesis,weusethepump-probetechnologytomainlyinvestigatetheultr

5、afastdynamicsofthefemtosecondlaserinducedperiodicsurfacestructures(LIPSS)orripplesonthebulkcoppermaterial,byirradiatingtwobeamsoffemtosecondlaserpulseswithvariousdelayedtimes.Intheexperiments,wemeasureandanalyzethemorphologycharacteristicsofthesubwavelengthrippleswithdifferent

6、timedelaysbetweenthetwolaserpulses,withaccompanimentofchangingtheenergyfluence,thepolarizationstateoftheincidentfemtosecondlasers.Afterthis,weperformapreliminarytheoreticalanalysisoftheinvolvedphysicalprocesses.Themaincontentsandtheachievedresultsofthisthesisalesummarizedasfol

7、lows:(1)Inthecaseofthetwolaserbeamswiththesamelinearpolarizationdirection,weinvestigatetheeffectofeitherthelaserfluenceorthepulsedelayedtimeontherippleproduction,andfindthatatthelargerdelayedtimetheevidentmeltingtracesIIIAbstractbegintoappearonthemorphologyofripples.(2)Whenthe
