3、temperaturecurvecanbecalculatedaccordingtoLindemanLaw.Comparingwiththepre-existinghighpressuremeltingcurveofFe,Fe.O,Fe.SandFe.O.S,itisfirstlyfoundthatthereislinearrelationshipbetweenthemeltingdeceaseandamountofS.AndOhaslittleeffectonthemeltingtemperatureofironhighpressure.Theaboveresultsareve
4、rysignificanttoconstrainthetemperatureprofileoftheoutercore.4.ThedensityandbulksoundvelocityofFe-SsystemintheEarth’Soutercore.AccordingtothemeasuredstateequationandthermodynamicparametersofFeandFeS,wecalculatedthedensityandsoundvelocityoftheFe-S,whichareinagreementwellwiththoseofexperimentald
5、ata.Itshowsthataboveequationsandparametersarereasonable.Thenusingthismethod,thedensityandbulksoundvelocityofFe88.2S11.8andFe90S10werecalculatedandcomparedwiththatoftheEarth’SouterCOre.ThedensityandsoundvelocityofFe90S10matchesbetterthanthatofFes8.2Sl1.8.Therefore,itfurtherprovedthatOisdeplete
