1、ABSTRACTWiththeaccelerationofurbanization,thesizeofcityexpandscontinually,populationandtheirtraveldemandincreasegreatly,thereforethenumberofcityvehicleshasan“explosivegrowth”,resultingthaturbantrafficcongestionproblemhasbecomeincreasinglyprominent.Referringtothesuccessfulexper
2、ienceabroadtosolvethetrafficproblem,thebigcitiesinourcountryshouldgiveprioritytothedevelopmentofpublictransportsystemwith“urbanrailtransitasthebackbone,conventionalpublictransitasthemainbody”,guidingcityresidentstopublicsystem,asthepreferredwaytosolvethetrafficproblems.Onthepr
3、esentstateofourcountrytheconstructionofurbanrailtransitislaterthanthatofconventionalpublictransit,whichwillleadtosignificantchangesinthestructureofurbantransitsystem,therefore,it’snecessarytoadjustconventionalpublictransitlinesonthebasisofurbanrailtransittocooperatewithurbanra
4、iltransit,inordertoimprovetheservicelevelofpublictransitsystem.Thisthesismainlystudiesoptimizationofconventionalpublictransitbasedontheurbanrailtransitfromthreeaspects,suchasthefunctionalorientation,predictionofconventionalpublictransitpassengerflowchange,optimizationmodelcons
5、truction.Intermsoffunctionorientation,combinedwiththedevelopmenttrendofcitypassengertransportationsystem,thisthesismakesacomparativeanalysisofurbanrailtransitandconventionalpublictransitfromtechnicalandeconomicpoint,andclearlyputsforwardthepositioningofurbanrailtransitandconve
