6、hanism.Inviewofthecharacteristicsoftheloesscollapsibility,analyzingthereasonsoftheeasycollapseaccidentsinloesstunnelsduringexcavationprocess,andexploretheloesstensilestrength’sapplicationinthetunnelcollapseaccidents.Theresultsshowedthatunconfinedcompressivestrength,
7、tensilestrengthandshearstrengthontheverticaldirectionwerehigherthanhorizontaldirection,andtheloessanisotropymodelwassimplifyaselliptical.Theloess’smaximumdeviationstressratioofverticalandhorizontaldirectionwasbiggerunderlowconfiningpressure,reachingto1.35,andsmaller
8、underthehighconfiningpressure,only1.03,indicatingloessanisotropyhadgreaterinfluenceandthedeviationstressandstrainrelationsoftheloessshowed
