4、nsfer,interlanguage,contrastiveanalysisanderroranalysis,thisthesisisanattempttodiscussthemanifestationsandthecausesofChinglishbycitingalargenumberofexamplesinthewritingsofnon-Englishmajors.Inaddition,someimplicationsareworkedoutwithanaimtobettercollegeEnglishteaching
5、andlearninginChina.Thethesisiscomposedofsixchapters.ChapterIfirstlygivesusageneralaccountofthepresentsituationofEnglishteachingandlearningincollege,andthenpointsoutthesignificanceandtheoverallstructureofthestudy.ChapterIIconsistsfiveparts.Firstofall,itproposesthedefi
6、nitionofChinglishandgivesabriefreviewofthehistoricaldevelopmentofChinglish.Then,twoterms,ChinglishandChinaEnglish,aredifferentiated,whichhelpstoclearupthewayforthestudyofChinglish.PhenomenonofChinglishinpublicationsanddailycommunicationsarelistedtoillustrateitsuniver
