2、icreviewandlagfarbehindthoseinWesterncountries．Whatresearchachievementshavebeenachieved?WhatproblemsexistedorstillexistinChina’Sfilmandvideotranslationresearch)Whatproblemshavetheseresearchstudiessolved?Whatproblemsaretobesolved?ThisthesisendeavorstoanswerthesequestionsSOastoprovideaus

3、efulreferenceandguidanceforfutureresearch．Thisthesiscollected491articles，includingjournalarticles，MAtheses，andPHDdissertationsfromtheChinaNationalKnowledgeInfrastructure(CNKI)，thatarerelatedtofilmandvideotranslationpublishedbetween1994and2011．Thethesiscomparesthenumberofarticlesbetween

4、generaltranslationstudiesandfilmandvideotranslationresearchinChina，andthenanalyzestheyearlydistribution，topicdistribution．Data，diagrams，andgraphsareemployedtoindicatetheimportanceattachedtofilmandvideotranslation，itsevolution，researchloci，andtrendsinfutureresearch．Thefocusofthisthesisi
