3、ty,Beijing100084,China)Abstract:Thispaperaimstoexploretheimpactdifferenceofeventandeventtourismbetweendifferenttypesofvillages,andtakesJiangshuiheandChangshaoyingvillageinBeijingsuburbsastwocasesforacompara-tivestudytofindouttheimpactoffolkculturaleventp

4、revailinginChineseruralareas.ThesetwovillagesarestillinthejuniorstageoftourismdevelopmentinBeijingbutcomparativelydevelopedineventandeventtourism.Theauthorscollectedthedataofresidents'perceptionsduringApriltoMayin2010,usingStatisticalProductandServiceSol

5、utionstogetthekeyfactorsofresidents'perceptionsfrom23itemsandanalyzetheperceptiondifferenceontheeventimpactoftheresidentsinthetwovillages.Accordingtothetourismdevel-opmentstagestheoryofDoxey,residents'perceptionsonthepositiveeffectsshouldbemorethantheneg

6、ativeonesinthedestinationsinthejuniorstage.Buttheresultsshowanotabledifferenceintheperceptionsontheimpactofeventsbetweenthetwovillages.TheresidentsinJiangshuihevillagerecognizesociallifeandeco-nomicprofit,socialequityandenvironmentalcostastheprincipalinf

7、luentialfactors,inallofwhichsocialequityandenvironmentalcostfactorsrankingthetopwhileindustrialdevelopmentprofitfactorfallingtobot-tom,indicatingresidentsperceivedsignificantdemeritsbroughtbyeventandeventtourism;whileinthecaseofChangshaoyingvillage,thepr

8、incipalinfluentialfactorsaresocialeconomicprofitandsocialequitycost,withhighestperceptiononsocialeconomicprofitfactorandlowestonenvironmentalcostfactor.Thisindi-catesthatresidentsperceivedsignificantmeritsbroughtbyeventand
