1、AbstractInthepastdecade,withtherapiddevelopmentofinternetindustry,strongdataprocessingabilityofnetworkprocessorisrequiredwhenit’Sconfrontedwithvariousintemetprotocolsandfastincreasingnetworkbandwidth,throughput-orientedoptimizationofmicro-enginewhichisasthecoreofnetworkproc

2、essorisanimportantdomain011thearchitectureofthenetworkprocessors.Withtheapplicationofthehardwaremulti-threadingtechnology,thedesignofmicro-enginebecomesmorecomplex.Oncethecomplexityofdesignincreased,thecomplexityofverificationwillbeincreasdmuchmore.Therefore,functionalverif

3、icationofmicro—enginebecomesthebottleneckofdesignofmicro-engineprocessorandhowtovalidatemicro-engineintheroundisthedifficultythatwemustface.Functionalverificationtechnologyofmicro—engineprocessorisresearchedinthisthesis.Thetechnologyofhardwaremulti-threadingandsixtyinstruct

4、ionsareusedinmicro—engine,soransackinginstructionspaceisdifficult.Therefore,functionalcoverageandcodecoverageisuesdattheconvergenceofverification.Byestablishingcomprehensivecoveragemodelandinstitutingconvergenteonditionl,thefunctionalverificationofmicro—engineisachievedinth

5、isthesissuccessfully.Theverificationmethodsofconstraintbasedrandomfortheverificationofmicro-engineisusedinthisthesis,manybugsarefoundintheprocess.Afterwarddisadvantageofthismethodisanalysedandtheotherverificationmethodbasedoncoverage—drivenisproposedinthisthesis.Inthismetho
