6、ncheckedcorporatepowerhadpotentiallyseriousconsequencesforthedemocraticcharacteroftheUnitedStates.SocialscientistswhodrewonBerleandMeansinsubsequentdecadespresentedafarmorebenigninterpretationoftheriseofmanagerialism,however.Forthem,theseparationofownershipfromcontrola
