一．连词的含义连词是一种虚词，在句中不能单独作句子的成分，也没有词形变化。它只起连接词与词，短语与短语或句子与句子的作用。二．连词的种类连词分为并列连词和从属连词。1．并列连词：分为常用和关联两种⑴常用并列连词：andbutorsoAnd是常用的并列连词，它可以连接对等关系的词，短语或句子。常意为“和，又，同”？e.gIstayedathomeandcleanedthehouse.You,heandImustgo.Let’sgoandplayfootball.But是表示意义转折的连词，可连接两种并列成分或句子，连接成分只能是两个，表对比，相当于andyet.可意为“但是，然而”e.g:NotyoubutIamwrong.It’sanicehouse,butitdoesn’tgetagardenHeisyoung,butveryexperienced.Or表选择，只选其一e.g:Whichisthebiggest,thesunthemoonortheearth?MaryorIamwrong.Don’tmove,orI’llshootyou.So表示结果，连接句子。为了与前句连贯或表示惊异，so可放在句首。e.g:Itwasveryhot,soIopenedthewindow.It’srainingnow,soIbringanumbrellaout.Thebearthoughthewasdead,soitwentaway.⑵关联并列连词Both……and……和，不但……而且……e.gBothLiPingandWuNaareEnglishteachers.Ifhearrivedlate,hewouldloseboththelandandthemoney.Either……or……要么……要么……；不是……就是……e.gEitherIoryoumakeamistake.Eitheryouorheisfoolish.CanyouspeakeitherChineseorEnglish?Neither……nor……既不……也不……e.gNeitherInorhewasrightIhaveneithertimenormoneyHeneitherknowsnorcaresaboutthenewsNotonly……butalso……不但……而且……e.g:Notonlyhisparentsbutalsoheisnicetome.DengYapingisfamousnotonlyinChinabutalsointheworld.Henotonlysayswellbutalsodoeswell.2.从属连词从属连词用来连接主句和从句。⑴从属连词的类别
