5、nerator,theniftherotorresistanceincreases,therotorspeedwillalsoincrease.Beforesemiconductorswereavailable,onewayofadjustingtheslipwastointroduceexternalrotorresistances.Theexternalrotorresistancewillcauseadditionallossesintherotorcircuit.Whensemiconductorsbecameavailableitwa

6、spossibletorecovertheslipotherwisedissipatedintheexternalrotorresistance.Thus,theslippowercanberecoveredintomechanicalorelectricalenergy;therefore,thismethodiscalled"slippowerrecovery."Therotorcurrentmustberectifiedwithadioderectifier.Formotoroperation,therotorcircuitwillsee
