3、xaminationcanbeperformedwell.1.5Themeasurementequipmentusedforexaminationshallbecalibratedandbeusedintheeffectiveperiod.2.CuttingRequirements2.1Plates,edgesofheads,andotherpartsmaybecuttoshapeandsizebymechanicalmeanssuchasmachining,shearing,grinding,orbyoxygenorarccutting.Afteroxygenorarc

4、cutting,allslaganddetrimentaldiscolorationofmaterialwhichhasbeenmoltenshallberemovedbymechanicalmeanspriortofurtherfabricatingoruse.2.2Endsofnozzlesormanholeneckswhicharetoremainun-weldedinthecompletedvesselmaybecutbyshearingprovidedsufficientadditionalmaterialisremovedbyanyothermethodtha

5、tproducesasmoothfinish.Exposedinsideedgesshallbechamferedorrounded.2.3Incasetheoriginalidentificationmarkingcanbeunavoidablycutout,orthematerialisdividedintotwoormoreparts,onesetshallbeeitheraccuratelytransferredbyoperatorstoaproperlocationonthedividedpart(seeQCMP-04"MaterialMarkingProced

6、ure")orcodedmarkingsacceptabletotheAIshallbeused.2.4Dimensionsofcuttingpartsshallbecheckedagainstthedrawings.3.ExaminationRequirements3.1Priortocutting,examinersshallcheckwhetherthemarkingtransferisperformedcorrectly.WPECDOC.NO.：QCEP-01REV.NO.：0Page4of4Whenthecuttingistobemadebyautomaticc

7、uttingmachinepriortothetransferofthemarkings,suchtransfershallbemadeimmediatelyaftercuttingandbeforeremovingthedividedmaterialfromthecuttingbed.TheExaminershallwitnessthetransfer.3.2Accordingtotheconfigurationandsizeofcuttingparts,thedimensionsshallbeexaminedbyusing
