3、alsocietyofcapitalismouridealsociety?Arethemoneyandthepowerourhumanpermanentpursuit?Withthiskindofdoubts,inthesummerof1845,ThoreaubuiltlogcabinbesideWaldenPond,livinginthewoodsalongfortwoyearsandtwomonths.Helivedmodestly,Self-sufficiencyandplantedsprouts,gatheringberries.Durin
4、gthesparetime,heoftenwentswimmingandwentforawalk,orchattedwithsomefriendslivingatthenearbytown.Meanwhile,hewrotedowntheWalden,therepresentativeworksofimmortality.Theauthor’smovingtothecabinwasweirdaction,especiallyintheagewhenmostpeoplechoosetostruggletosucceedinsocietyrequiri
