2、ongKeyLabofIntegratedControlofAgro-environment,Guangzhou510650,ChinaAbstract:ToinvestigatethebehaviorofNwithinriceplants,Japonica(Hinohikari)andIndica(Hadsaduri)typesweregrownintheculturesolutioninagreenhouse.Thenitratenitrogen(NO-3-N)orammoniumnitrogen(NH4+-N)labeledwith15Nweresuppliedtobothplan
3、tsforoneweekattillering,panicleinitiationandheadingstages.Thericeplantwasharvestedimmediatelyafterapplicationof15Natpanicleinitiationandheadingstagerespectively.BythedeterminationofNO-3-NandNH4+-Ninthesolutionculture,the15Namountabsorbedfromtherootduringoneweekwascalculated.Allharvestedplantswere
4、separatedintotheroots,vegetativepartsorears.AfterthetotalnitrogenineachplantpartwasdeterminedbytheKjeldahlmethod,the15Nwasanalyzedbyemissionmethod.BycomparingbetweenJaponicaandIndicaplantsinallgrowthstages,itisshownthatthe15NamountabsorbedwithbothNH4+-NandNO-3-NremainedmoreintheJaponicathanintheI
5、ndica,whilecomparingbetweenNH4+-NandNO-3-Ntreatments,15NamountabsorbedwithNH4+-NremainedmoreinthebothplantsthanthatwithNO-3-N.Atmaturitystage,15NamountabsorbedwithbothNforms,observedinears,remainedmoreinJaponicathaninIndica.Theresultsuggeststhat15Namountremainedinriceplantsweredifferentbetweenvar
