3、dateM/128,Productsrelatedtoconcrete,mortarandgrout,givenundertheEUConstructionProductsDirective(89/106/EEC),andisintendedtoleadtoCEmarking.ThedateofapplicabilityofEN1504-3asaharmonizedEuropeanStandard,i.e.thedateafterwhichthisstandardmaybeusedforCEmarkingpurposes,issubjecttoanan
4、nouncementintheOfficialJournaloftheEuropeanCommunities.TheCommissioninconsultationwithMemberStateshasagreedatransitionperiodfortheco-existenceofharmonizedEuropeanStandardsandtheircorrespondingnationalstandard(s).Itisintendedthatthisperiodwillcompriseaperiod,usuallyninemonths,aft
5、erthedateoftheEuropeanStandard,duringwhichanyrequiredchangestonationalregulationsaretobemade,followedbyafurtherperiod,usuallyof12months,fortheimplementationofCEmarking.Attheendofthisco-existenceperiod,thenationalstandards(s)willbewithdrawn.EN1504-3isthesubjectoftransitionalarran
6、gementsagreedundertheCommissionmandate.IntheUK,therearenocorrespondingnationalstandardsofnationalorigin.TheUKparticipationinpreparationofEN1504-3:2005wasentrustedbyTechnicalCommitteeB/517,Concrete,toSubcommitteeB/517/8,Protectionandrepairofconcretestructures,whichhastheresponsib
