4、而,不管怎样去定义阅读,英语阅读教学的重要性是不容置疑的。在外语教学中,阅读是掌握语言知识、获取信息、提高语言应用能力的重要基础,其核心地位在国内外的各种级别语言课程设置及测试中早已明确建立。高中英语阅读教学发展到今天,教师已认识到只教给学生一些语言知识是不够的。虽然阅读在英语教学中占有重要位置,但是目前的英语阅读教学现状仍然不尽人意。本文通过分析传统阅读教学方法的不足,提出要提高英语阅读教学的成效,作为教师,应该拥有有效的教学理念,掌握有效的教学策略。教师在阅读教学中起着很重要的作用,笔者认为,在高中英语阅读教学过程中,教师应继续发挥其引导作用;培养学生阅读兴趣;
