4、t.SPMP’smainmarketisChina,althoughthecompanyislookingtoexpanditsoverseassales.AlthoughlesswellknownthanitsassociateZPMC,SPMPalsooperateslargemanufacturingfacilities,andisduetomovepartofitsproductionshortlytoChangxingIslandnearShanghaiwhereZPMCalreadyoperatesalargecontainercranefabricationplant.Port
5、alandotherharbourcranesareSPMP’smajorproductionitem.Duringthepasttwoyears,thecorporationhaswoncontractsfor145portalcranesfromportauthoritiesthroughoutChina,bothfromnewportsunderconstructionandportsundergoingexpansion.Inrecentyears,SPMPhasalsosuppliedportalcranestotheUnitedStates,Iraq,andMyanmar.The
6、portRangoonofMyanmarinhaspurchaseda47m,40tportalcranewhileBIWoftheUnitedStateshaspurchasedthreecranes-15t,150t,and300tportalcranes.Elsewhere,SPMPhassupplied12portalcranestoseveralportsinIraqsincetheendoftheSaddamregime.InChina,SPMP’srecentmajorordersforportalcranesincludeeight40t,45mradiuscranesfor
