4、ment.SPMP’smainmarketisChina,althoughthecompanyislookingtoexpanditsoverseassales.AlthoughlesswellknownthanitsassociateZPMC,SPMPalsooperateslargemanufacturingfacilities,andisduetomovepartofitsproductionshortlytoChangxingIslandnearShanghaiwhereZPMCalreadyoperatesalargecontainercranefabricationplant.
5、PortalandotherharbourcranesareSPMP’smajorproductionitem.Duringthepasttwoyears,thecorporationhaswoncontractsfor145portalcranesfromportauthoritiesthroughoutChina,bothfromnewportsunderconstructionandportsundergoingexpansion.Inrecentyears,SPMPhasalsosuppliedportalcranestotheUnitedStates,Iraq,andMyanma
6、r.TheportRangoonofMyanmarinhaspurchaseda47m,40tportalcranewhileBIWoftheUnitedStateshaspurchasedthreecranes-15t,150t,and300tportalcranes.Elsewhere,SPMPhassupplied12portalcranestoseveralportsinIraqsincetheendoftheSaddamregime.InChina,SPMP’srecentmajorordersforportalcranesincludeeight40t,45mradiuscra
