5、microwaveobservationsofcarbonmonoxide(CO)moleculesindicateasimilarrateofmasslossanddemonstratethattheescapingmaterialextendsout-wardfromthestarforadistanceofatleastonelight-year.BecauseweknowthesizeofthecloudaroundIRC+10216andcanuseourobservationsofeither
