3、effectivetoselecthydrogenproducingbacteria,andtoincreasethehydrolysisofparticulateorganicsinsewagesludge。IntroductionCommercialhydrogenisalmostproducedfromsteamreformingofnaturalgasesandgasificationofcoal,buttheserequirehigh-energyinputsobtainedfromnon-renewableresources.Withbothadvant
4、agesofhydrogenproductionandstabilizationoforganicwaste,theanaerobicfermentationisrelativelyanefficientandinexpensivemethodcomparedtothephysicochemicalmethodsforhydrogenproduction.Theobjectiveofthestudyistodevelopacontinuousanaerobichydrogenfermentationsystemwithstablehydrogenproduction
5、byheattreatment,andwithhighyieldofhydrogenbyadoptingthermophiliccondition.MaterialsandMethodsExperimentalApparatusGassamplingpotActivatingreactorBiogasSludgetankInsutationHeatingCoilThermophilicfermenterEfluentAnalysisandCalculationsBiogasproductionwasmonitoreddaily,anditscompositionwa
6、sanalyzedbyagaschromatographequippedwithathermalconductivitydetectorToanalyzethemethaneandcarbondioxideinthebiogas.withaflowrateof40mL/min,andthetemperaturesoftheinjector,detector,andcolumnwere80,90,and50oC,respectively.Thevolatilefattyacidlevelsandtheircompositionswereanalyzedbyhigh-p
7、erformanceliquidchromatography.Themixedliquorswereintermittentlytakenfromboththeflow-throughandtheretentionreactor,andtheproperties,includingpH,alkalinity,COD,VSS,VS,andTS,ofthesampleswerealsoanalyzedaccordingtotheStandardMethods.ThehydrolysisrateandVFAproductionratewerecalculate
