2、callyandsemanticallycorrectsentences,someofthemarenotappropriateorfeasibleinthecurrentsituations;what’sworse,sometimesitwillviolateculturalprincipleinthetargetlanguagecommunity,thuscommunicativefailureoccursattimes.Thereasonisweallignoreculturalteaching,appliedintotheEng
3、lishlanguageteaching.Since1980s,theresearchofrelationbetweenlanguageandculturehasgainedmoreandmoreattention.ThebookCultureandCommunication(胡文仲,1994)givesusasystematicintroductionofnewoutcomesaboutrelationbetweencultureandlanguage,thecontentandmethodofculturalteaching,etc
4、.Infact,Culturesdifferfromoneanother.Eachcultureisunique.“Learningaforeignlanguagewellmeansmorethanmerelymasteringthepronunciation,grammar,wordsandidioms.Itmeanslearningtoseetheworldasnativespeakersofthatlanguageseeit,learningthewaysinwhichtheirlanguagereflectstheideas,c
5、ustomsandbehavioroftheirsociety,learningtounderstandtheir‘languageofmind’.Learningalanguage,isinseperatablefromlearningitsculture.”(耿延宏,2000)ThispapermainlyappliesdifferentcultureintothreestagesofEnglishlanguageteachingsystematically.__________________It’ssaidthattherear

7、titudes,andnorms(LindaBeamerandIrisVarner,2003).Inaword,“Culturereferstothetotalwayoflifeofparticulargroupsofpeople.Itincludeseverythingthatagroupofpeoplethinks.Thecultureofeverysocietyisunique,containingcombinationofnormsandvaluesthatarefoundnowhereelse,”whichisalsothem
