1、浅析重庆地区中学阶段英语口语教学AResearchProposalofSpokenEnglishTeachingofMiddleSchoolsinChongqingForthispaper,IplantomakeastudyonspokenEnglishteachingofmiddleschoolsinChongqing.Asthefastdevelopmentofwholeworld,Englishbecomesmoreimportant,especiallyfororalenglish.Butthetriditonalteachingmethodsmakestudents

2、nottobeabletospeakinEnglishloudlyandfrequently,whichmakesitnottosatisfytheneedsofsociety.Thisarticleaimsatlookingforsomenewwaystohelptheproblem-solvingonspokenEnglishteaching.Thearticlemainlyundertaketheway----materials,observationandquestionnaire,toanalyzethereasonswhichcausetheproblems.An

3、dalsoworksoutsomesolutions.Thestudyshowthatreasonsareclassifiedintosubjectiveandobjectivesides.Althoughwehavefindoutsomefactorswhichinfluencetheoralenglishteaching,itstillneedsustomakeanefforttoputthosesolutionsintopractice.Andtodomoreresearchestofindoutmorereasonsandsolutionstodevelopthequ

4、alityofspokenEnglishteaching.Scholarsabroadhavedonealotontheoralenglish.Stephenkrashen(1981)talkaboutinputHypothesis,andhethoughtacquisitionneedstudentscontactmorewiththeunderstandableknowledge.Thegoodinputmaterialsshouldbeinterestingandrelevant.RodEllis(2000.03)talkaboutitfromtheteachingsi

5、de.Hediscussedinputinclass.Long(1983),Porter(1985).andPica(1991)thougttheself-correctioninaEnglishconversationwillimprovetheoralEnglishability.Notuntiltheyearof1995,scholarsinourcountrystartedconcentratingonthisresearch.Overthepast15years,scholarsinmainlandChinahasdomanyresearchesaboutEngli

6、shteaching.Alltogether24paperspublishedinmajorChineseEFLjorunalshavebeenclassifiedandanalyzed.ThereviewshowsthatthefocusofEnglishspeakingresearchinchinaisfourfold:1)theoryofEnglishspeaking.2)empiricalstudiesonEnglishspeaking.3)Englishspeakingtesting.And4)Englishspeakingintruction.Althoughwe

7、haveexplored,developedandachievedalotinthisarea.Becauseofmanyreasons,itstillexistsmanyproblemsonthistopic.Thisthesisconsistsoffourchapters.ThefirstchaptertalksabouttheimportanceofspokenEnglishinmiddleschool,andgiveabriefcontroductionaboutthewholetext.The
