2、样能看到许多劣质城市雕塑堂而皇之的呈现在公众的视野内，这些“菜雕”(特指设计内容或加工程度较差的雕塑)非但不能美化人们的生存环境，反而会起到毁坏作用。劣质城市雕塑普通出自非专业人士或者低程度设计者之手，而投资方的行为目的常常是急功近利、附庸风雅的，他们并不懂得公共环境艺术的设计理论和作用，“菜雕”极端恶劣的毁坏了自然、城市环境，丧失了城市雕塑应有的生命力和内涵，同时也伤害着公众的视觉和心理，劣质雕塑只不过是外表繁华本质肤浅的舞台化景观，缺乏深层面的人文关心和文化内涵。有义务感的艺术家必然会对这种伪文化现象停止鞭挞，并辅佐相关部门组织起开
