2、ends,Capgemini’s2018WorldWealthReport(WWR)confirmedthatglobalHNWIwealthwouldexceedUS$100trillionby2025.Highnetworthindividualsaroundtheworldenjoyedinvestmentreturnsabove20%forthesecondyearinarow,withclientsinAsia-Pacific(excl.Japan)andLatinAmericarealizingthebestreturnscomparedwithotherr

3、egions.However,oursurveyresultsindicatethatforwealthmanagerstoimprovetheirHNWclients’satisfaction,theymustinvigoratetheirpersonalconnectionwiththem.In2018,only55.5%ofHNWIssaidtheyconnected“verywell”withtheirwealthmanager,andwelearnedthatmostHNWIsgloballycouldbenefitfromanewsystemforlocat

4、ingawealthmanager.Whileoverallassetallocationremainedlargelystablesincethe2017WWR,enthusiasmfordigitalcurrencybrokeoutin2017with29.0%ofHNWIsgloballysayingtheyhadahighdegreeofinterestinpurchasingorholdingcryptocurrenciesand26.9%sayingtheyweresomewhatinterested.Despitethegrowingfervor,weal

5、thmanagementfirmshaveto-datebeenambivalentaboutofferingguidance,withonly34.6%ofHNWIsgloballysayingtheyhadreceivedcryptocurrencyinformationfromtheirwealthmanagers.Althoughregulatoryuncertaintyandfirmcautionhavesofarpreventedcryptocurrenciesfrompenetratingthewealthmanagementindustry,thestr

6、ongdemandforinformationoncryptocurrenciesfromyoungerHNWIsislikelytoforcewealthmanagementfirmstoatleastdevelopandofferapoint-of-viewduringthemonthsahead.HNWIscontinuetodemandhybridadvice,andtherewasa3.4percentagepointsincreasethisyearinthenumberofwealthmanagementfirmsthathavehybrid-advice
