5、nary.ItprovidesEnglishlearnersalltypesofinformation:spelling,syllables,weakandstrongforms,syntacticstructures,wordorigins,meaning,wordcollocation,formalandinformalusages,slangsandidioms,etc.Therefore,itsimportanceisself-evident.However,ifyouuseitinaninappropriateway,theseco
6、ndbestteachersnotonlycouldnothelpyou,butalsomightevenbringalotofnegativeeffectstoyou.Forexample,somelearnersjustreadthefirstseveralChinesemeaningsandusagesoftheword,whichwouldnegativelyexpandornarrowtheirunderstandingoforiginalmeanings;somelearnersdependtoomuchontheirdictio
