4、ses.TeachingEnglishisnotonlytogiveaninstructiononsyntacticstructuresoronlearningnewwordsandexpressions,butalsotoincorporatesomeculturalelements,whichareintertwinedwithlanguageitself,tohelpstudentstoapplythenecessaryskillstocommunicationanddealwithproblemsarisingf

7、与生活的必备能力。为了能与来自不同文化的人们顺利沟通，个体必须注重跨文化交际能力的培养:从跨文化交际意识，敏感度进而到能力的形成。我们的英语教学正是在教语言的同时从小培养学生跨文化交际能力的有效途径之一。而这个目的却因为中学普遍存在的应试教育的压力，教师自身素质的参差不齐及其他种种原因而几乎被忽略。英语教学不仅仅是教会学生句法，结构，生词短语等语言知识，还必须传授与语言知识密切相关的文化因素，以帮助学生养成良好的语言习惯，提高反映能力，能独立解决交际中出现的种种问题，从而提高他们在跨文化交际中各方面的能力。交际运用能力不
