3、tionisgiven,withabriefanalysisofstudiesrelatedtotheimprovementofmiddleschoolstudents’readingability.AndthenbasedonCognitiveLearningTheoryandSchemaReadingTheory,thepaperillustratesthesignificantrolethereadingstrategyplaysinreadingcomprehension.Readingstrategiesemploymentr
4、esultsinefficientreadingcomprehension.Fromcognitiveperspective,readingstrategiesmaybeginasdeclarativeknowledge,andthenturnintoproceduralknowledgewithrepeatedpractice.Onceturnedtobeprocedural,readingstrategiesbenefitstudentsinimprovingreadingabilities.Atlast,withthetheore
5、ticalstudy,astrategy-basedinstructionandtrainingplanhasbeenmade.Itwasputto30practiceandtheteststatisticresultsshowtheplanispracticalandvaluable.Theseresultsalsosupporttheideasthatreadingstrategiesaidinimprovingreadingabilityandreducingdiscrepancy.Itcomestolightthatstuden
