5、ncysoastohelpinthepromotionoftheculturecommunicationbetweenChineseandWesterncountries.Keywords:metaphor;westernculture;Chineseculture;contrastivestudy中英文化里隐喻的对比研究摘要：西方对隐喻的研究由来已久，自亚里士多德研究开始，大致经历了三个阶段：20世纪30年代以前的修辞学研究，20世纪30年代到70年代的语义学研究，20世纪70年代以后的多学科研究。隐喻作为人

6、类最原始的思维方式之一，引起了国内外诸多学者的兴趣。如今，各个分支的语言学家正从语义学、语用学、关联理论、认知学等方面来研究隐喻。隐喻来源于生活，并在人们的生活中扮演着十分重要的角色。现在隐喻不仅仅被认为是一种修辞手段，同时还是一种重要的文化交流手段。本文试图从文化角度分析中英语言中的隐喻现象，具体分析两种语言中的隐喻在文化角度上的重合关系和在不同文化里的自有特色及文化空缺现象，探讨中西方文化之间的隐喻差异，从而进一步推进中西方文化之间的文化交流。关键词：隐喻;西方文化;中国文化；对比研究ContentsAbs
