2、nddomesticplants,bycontrollinginjuriousanimalsandplantsandbypreventingtheoutbreakandspreadthereof.(DEFINITIONS)Article2.'Plants'asusedinthislawshallmeananyplant(includingapartthereof,seed,fruitandprocessedgoodssuchasstrawmat,strawbaleorothersimilarproducts)
3、belongingtophanerogam,pteridophyteorbryophyte,exclusiveofinjuriousplantsspecifiedinnextparagraph.2.‘Injuriousplants’asusedinthislawshallmeananyfungus,slimemold,bacterium,parasiticplantorviruswhichisdirectlyorindirectlyinjurioustoeconomicplants.3.‘Injuriousa
4、nimals’asusedinthislawshallmeaninsect,miteandotherarthropod,nematodeandotherinvertebrateanimals,andcertainvertebrateanimalswhichareproventobeharmfultoeconomicplants.4.‘Forecastofoutbreakprogram’asusedinthislawshallmeantheundertakinginwhichtheoutbreakofdamag
5、eonagriculturalcropsduetoinjuriousanimalsandplantsissurmisedbeforehandbyinvestigatingtheconditionsofpropagationofinjuriousanimalsorplants,weather,growthofagriculturalcrops,etc.andtheinformationobtainedtherebyisofferedtothepartiesconcerned,inordertoensuretim
6、elyandeconomicalcontrolofinjuriousanimalsorplants.5.‘Electronicinformationprocessingsystem’asusedinthislawshallmeantheelectronicinformationprocessingsysteminwhichtheelectroniccomputer(includinginput/outputdevices,hereinafterthesame)usedbythePlantProtectionS
7、tationisconnected,throughelectroniccommunicationlines,withtheinput/outputdevicesusedbythepersonwhointendstoreportinaccordancewiththeprovisionofArticle8,paragraph1.(PLANTQUARANTINEOFFICIALANDINSPECTOR)Article3.PlantQuarantineOfficialshallbeestablishedintheMi
8、nistryofAgricultureForestryandFisheriestocarryoutthequarantineorthecontrolstipulatedinthisLaw.2.TemporaryplantquarantineinspectormaybeestablishedintheMinistryofAgriculture,ForestryandFisheriestoassistt
