3、rovisionsArticle1ThepresentLawisformulatedfortheprotectionofthelegitimaterightsandinterestsofconsumers,maintenanceofthesocio-economicorderandpromotionofthehealthydevelopmentofthesocialistmarketeconomy.Article2Therightsandinterestsofconsumersinpurchasingandusingcommoditiesor

4、receivingservicesfordailyconsumptionshallbeundertheprotectionofthepresentLaw,orundertheprotectionofotherrelevantlawsandregulationsinabsenceofstipulationsinthisLaw.Article3Businessoperatorsshall,intheirsupplyofcommoditiesproducedandsoldbythemorservicestoconsumers,abidebythep

5、resentLaw,orabidebyotherrelevantlawsandregulationsinabsenceofstipulationsinthepresentlaw.Article4Intransactionsbetweenbusinessoperatorsandconsumersaprincipleofvoluntariness,equality,fairness,honestyandcredibilityshallbefollowed.Article5TheStateshallprotectthelegitimateright

6、sandinterestsofconsumersfrominfringement.10TheStateshalladoptmeasurestosafeguardconsumers'exerciseoftheirrightsinaccordancewiththelawandtomaintainthelegitimaterightsandinterestsofconsumers.Article6Itisthecommonresponsibilityofthewholesocietytoprotectthelegitimaterightsandin

7、terestsofconsumers.TheStateshallencourageandsupportallorganizationsandindividualstoexercisesocialsupervisionoveractsinfringinguponconsumerrightsandinterests.Massmediashallconductpropagandadefendingthelegitimaterightsandinterestsofconsumersand,throughpublicopinion,exercisesu
