2、eprocessofmarketopeningandcompetition.Thiswillbeclearerafterbeingcomparedwiththedevelopmentofotherindustries.Sincethereformandopening-up,Chinahasseensomefast-developingindustries,especiallythehouseholdelectricalapplianceindustry.Inspiteofmanyproblems,theyaregenerallyhealthyanddynamic,andout
3、performotherindustriesinproductupgrading,technologicalprogress,quality,serviceandguaranteeingconsumers’rights.TheywillbemostcompetitiveevenafterChina’sentryintoWTO.Thesounddevelopmentoftheseindustriesshouldbemostlyattributedtothefactthattheyhaveexperiencedaprocessofmarketopeningandintensive
4、competition,thussolvingthethreekeyproblemscrucialtothedevelopmentofanindustry:First,the“discovery”ofadvantageousenterprises.Theadvantageousenterprisesarenotbornbynature,self-styledordesignatedbythegovernment.Theymustexperienceaprocessofbeing“screened”throughcompetitionbeforebeing“discovered
5、”.Anyindividualsororganizationsincludingthegovernmentscannotforetellwhichenterprisesareadvantageousenterprises.Today’sadvancedenterpriseswereoncenotsurewhethertheywouldsurelysucceedtoday.Thisisdeterminedbythecompetitiononthemarket.Second,thelearningandtrainingofenterprises'competitiveness.“
6、Competitivenesscanonlybeacquiredthroughcompetition”isabasictenet.Anenterprise’smarketing,management,R&Dandfinancingabilitiescanonlybeacquiredandaccumulatedfromthetwistsandturnsinthecourseofcompetition,andconsequently,theorganization,mechanismandsystemofanenterprisecanbegraduallyimprovedaswe
