3、ointroduce.ThisstudyintroducedtracingofgeneticallymodifiedcropsbyUCC/EAN-128barcodewhichwasdesignedforeightsectionsincludingtheplantingorigin,productscategory,harvesting,processing,packaging,stocking,transportingandsellingstages.Takeinggeneticallymodifiedcottonandnon-gen
4、eticallymodifiedriceasexample,theUCC/EAN-128barcodesweredesignedanddecoded.Toestablishtheconditionofgeneticallymodified(GM)productsinChina,thebarcodesaboutthegeneticallymodifiedcottonandcottonseedoilandcottonseedmealfromthesixsectionsincludingtheplantingorigin,products,p
5、rocessing,transportationwasdesignedandencodedinthispaper.ThebarcodesfromthefivesectionswereintegratedtoformthewholeUCC/EAN-128barcode.Andthelabelofthegeneticallymodifiedproductswasidentified,basedontheidentificationmeasuresfortheadministrationofagriculturalgeneticallymod
6、ifiedorganisms.CombinedwithUCC/EAN-128barcodeandidentificationforthegeneticallymodifiedorganisms,thegeneticallymodifiedproductscouldbetraced.Thisstudycanprovidethetechnicalsupportforgeneticallymodifiedproductsadministrationandsupervision.Toguaranteethenon-geneticallymodi
