3、introduce.ThisstudyintroducedtracingofgeneticallymodifiedcropsbyUCC/EAN-128barcodewhichwasdesignedforeightsectionsincludingtheplantingorigin,productscategory,harvesting,processing,packaging,stocking,transportingandsellingstages.Takeinggeneticallymodifiedcottonandnon-genet
4、icallymodifiedriceasexample,theUCC/EAN-128barcodesweredesignedanddecoded.Toestablishtheconditionofgeneticallymodified(GM)productsinChina,thebarcodesaboutthegeneticallymodifiedcottonandcottonseedoilandcottonseedmealfromthesixsectionsincludingtheplantingorigin,products,proc
5、essing,transportationwasdesignedandencodedinthispaper.ThebarcodesfromthefivesectionswereintegratedtoformthewholeUCC/EAN-128barcode.Andthelabelofthegeneticallymodifiedproductswasidentified,basedontheidentificationmeasuresfortheadministrationofagriculturalgeneticallymodifie
6、dorganisms.CombinedwithUCC/EAN-128barcodeandidentificationforthegeneticallymodifiedorganisms,thegeneticallymodifiedproductscouldbetraced.Thisstudycanprovidethetechnicalsupportforgeneticallymodifiedproductsadministrationandsupervision.Toguaranteethenon-geneticallymodifiedr
