2、sociatedwiththecastingisaround5%,theeffectiveyieldisaround45.6%(48%*(100-5/100)=45.6%).Letusassumethattheyieldofthatspecificcastingisincreased(bytheprinciplesoutlinedinthispaper)to73%andthereisanassociatedscrapequalto10%.Theresultanteffectiveyield(consideringlo
