4、sandthoseofkeratansulfate(KS)andchondroitin-6-sulfate(C6S)usinghigh-performanceliquidchromatography.Results.SerumKSintherecentKTgroup(2095594ng/ml)wassignificantlyhigherthanthatintheoldKTgroup(1373418ng/ml;P¼0.021),andserumCOMPintherecentKTgroup(1572182ng/ml)showedatendencythatwashigh

5、erthanthatintheoldKTgroup(1350250ng/ml;P¼0.079).SerumKSinOApatientswithKellgrenandLawrence(KL)grades0andI(1456334ng/ml)showedatendencythatwashigherthanthatinOApatientswithKLgradesII,IIIandIV(1248220ng/ml;P¼0.084).Conclusions.TheserumconcentrationofKScorrelatedwiththedamageofthearticul
