3、vailableonline1August2014learningprocess.Thisstudyexplorestherangeofpedagogicaltoolsusedin24MOOCs,includingtheepistemo-logicalandsocialdimensionsofinstruction,toconsidertheextenttowhichthesecoursesprovidestudentswithKeywords:high-quality,collaborativ
4、elearningexperiences.Findingssuggestthattherangeofpedagogicalpracticescurrent-Massiveopenonlinecourses(MOOCs)lyusedinMOOCstendstowardanobjectivist-individualapproach,withsomeeffortstoincorporatemorecon-OnlineeducationEngagedteachingandlearningstructi
5、vistandgroup-orientedapproaches.ByexaminingMOOCsthroughthelensofengagedteachingandCriticalpedagogylearning,thisstudyraisesconcernsaboutthedegreetowhichMOOCsareactuallyrevolutionizinghighereduca-Studentengagementtionbyusingtechnologytoimprovequality,a
