6、niversityprovidedmuchmoresupportforeachotherthandidnative-speakerconversationalpartners,perhapsbecauseofasharedsenseoffrustrationintryingtocommunicatecomplexthoughtsinless-developedlinguisticsystems.LongandPorter(1985)alsofoundthatgroupworkincreasedstudents’motivation.CLinvolves
