3、asednanomaterialsbytherm-decompositionandthesenanomaterialswerecharacterizedby(HR)TEM,XRDandEDS.1.Carbonmonoxide(CO)oxidationundermildcondition:ThecatalyticactivityofpreparedPtbasednanomaterialswasinvestigatedintheoxidationofCOundermildreactioncondition.T
4、hesecatalystsshowedobviouscatalyticactivitywhenthetemperaturewasraisedto50oCandthetotallyconversioncouldbeobtainedat110oC.2.Directhydrogenationofnitro-aromaticsandone-potamidationwithcarboxylicacidoverPtnanowires:Ptnanowiresweredemonstratedasheterogeneous
5、catalystfornitro-aromaticshydrogenationwithquantitiveconversionsatmildcondition.Whileusingcarboxylicacidsassolventunder1barhydrogenatmosphereat100oC,nitro-aromaticsweresuccessfullyconvertedtoamidewithsatisfiedconversionandselectivity.ThePtcatalystalsoshow
6、edhighcatalyticactivityandstability.Noobviouscatalyticactivitylosewasobservedafterseveraltimerecycling.Thismethodforhydrogenationofnitro-aromaticsanddirectamidationofnitro-aromaticswithcarboxylicacidsaresimple,economical,environmentalbenignandhavepractica
7、ladvantagesforsynthesisofaminesandimideswithoutproductionoftoxicby-products.3.OxidationofalcoholandalkenewithPtbasednanomaterials:VariousPtbasednanomaterialswerealsoinvestedascatalystsforselectiveoxidationofalcoholandalkene.Thereactionconditionsastemperat
