2、.Itissuitableforgraduateoradvancedundergraduatestudentsincomputerscience,mathematics,statistics,andrelateddisciplines.Thebookincludesmoderntopicslikenonparametriccurveestimation,bootstrapping,andclas-sification,topicsthatareusuallyrelegatedtofollow-upcours

3、es.Thereaderispresumedtoknowcalculusandalittlelinearalgebra.Nopreviousknowledgeofprobabilityandstatisticsisrequired.Statistics,datamining,andmachinelearningareallconcernedwithcollectingandanalyzingdata.Forsometime,statisticsresearchwascon-ductedinstatisti
