3、ns.ThiswasonlythesecondgeneralelectionsinceWorldWarIItoreturnahungparliament,thefirstbeingtheFebruary1974election.Howeverunlikethen,thistimethepotentialforahungparliamenthadbeenwidelyconsideredandthereforethecountrywasbetterpreparedfortheconstitutionalprocessthatwouldfollowsucha
