3、educedfromengineeringknowledgeofthesystemandtheparametersofthesemodelsareestimatedfromavailableexperimentaldata.Thisprocedureistimeconsumingandsub-optimal.Automationofthisprocesswouldmeanthatamuchlargerrangeofpotentialmodelstructurecouldbeinvestigatedmorequickly.Geneticprogramming(GP)isanoptimizatio

4、nmethodwhichcanbeusedtooptimizethenonlinearstructureofadynamicsystembyautomaticallyselectingmodelstructureelementsfromadatabaseandcombiningthemoptimallytoformacompletemathematicalmodel.Geneticprogrammingworksbyemulatingnaturalevolutiontogenerateamodelstructurethatmaximizes(orminimizes)someobjectivef
