3、stitutionsacourseinlinearalgebraisnotaprerequisiteforvectorcalculus.Consequently,thesenoteshavebeenwrittensothattheearlierchaptersdonotrequiremanyconceptsfromlinearalgebra.Whatfollowsbeganasasetoflecturenotesfromanintroductorycourseindifferentialforms,givenatPortlandStateUniversity,duringthesummero
4、f2000.ThenoteswerethenrevisedforsubsequentcoursesonmultivariablecalculusandvectorcalculusatCaliforniaPolytechnicStateUniversity.Atsomeundeterminedpointinthefuturethismayturnintoafullscaletextbook,soanyfeedbackwouldbegreatlyappreciated!Ithankseveralpeople.Firstandforemost,Iamgratefultoallthosestude
