2、zhou.In1935,hemovedtotheUnitedStatesandenrolledintheUniversityofPennsylvania'sarchitectureschool,butquicklytransferredtotheMassachusettsInstituteofTechnology.HewasunhappywiththefocusatbothschoolsonBeaux-Artsarchitecture,andspenthisfreetimeresearchingemergingarchitects,especiallyL
3、eCorbusier.Aftergraduating,hejoinedtheHarvardGraduateSchoolofDesign(GSD)andbecamefriendswiththeBauhausarchitectsWalterGropiusandMarcelBreuer.In1939,hemarriedEileenLoo,whohadintroducedhimtotheGSDcommunity.Theyhavebeenmarriedforoverseventyyears,andhavefourchildren,includingarchitec
