4、byagreeasfollows:1.DEFINITIONS1.1TermsusedbutnototherwisedefinedhereinshallhavethemeaningssetoutforsuchtermsinScheduleA.1.2Otherdefinitionalprovisionsinclude:(a)Areferencetoanyapplicablelawsortoanylegislation,ortoanyprovisionofApplicableLawsorofanylegislationincludes
5、areferencetosuchApplicableLawsorlegislationasamendedormodifiedfromtimetotime.(b)Areferencetoa“person”includesanyindividualorentity(includinganycompany,businessorotherenterpriseorentity,jointventure,institution,stateorgovernmentdepartment),asthecontextpermits.(c)Refer
6、encesinthisAgreementtocontracts,agreementsorotherdocuments,shallmeanthesameasamendedfromtimetotime.(d)AreferencetoanyPRCgovernmentauthorityordepartmentincludessuchauthorityordepartmentatState,provincial,municipalandotherlevels.(e)ReferencesinthisAgreementtogovernment
7、ministries,bureaux,departments,commissions,agencies,etc.shallincludeallsuccessorentitiesthereto.(a)InthisAgreement,themasculineformincludesthefeminineformandthesingularformincludesthepluralform,andviceversa.(b)Headingsareforconvenienceofreferenceonlyandshallnotaffect
