2、ewiththeEducationLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChina,theVocationalEducationLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaandtheLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaonPromotionofPrivately-RunSchoolsforthepurposesofstandardizingChinese-foreigncooperationinrunningschools,strengtheninginternationalexcha

3、ngeandcooperationinthefieldofeducationandpromotingthedevelopmentoftheeducationalcause.Article2TheseRegulationsapplytotheactivitiesofthecooperationbetweenforeigneducationalinstitutionsandChineseeducationalinstitutions(hereinafterreferredtoasChineseandforeigncooperatorsinrunni

4、ngschools)inestablishingeducationalinstitutions(hereinafterreferredtoasChinese-foreigncooperatively-runschools)withintheterritoryofChinatoprovideeducationservicemainlytoChinesecitizens.Article3Chinese-foreigncooperationinrunningschoolsisanundertakingbeneficialtopublicinteres

5、tsandformsacomponentofChina'seducationalcause.　　ForChinese-foreigncooperationinrunningschools,theStateadoptsthepoliciesofopeningwidertotheoutsideworld,standardizationofrunningschools,exercisingadministrationaccordingtolawandpromotingitsdevelopment.　　TheStateencouragesChinese

6、-foreigncooperationinrunningschoolstowhichhigh-qualityforeigneducationalresourcesareintroduced.　　TheStateencouragesChinese-foreigncooperationinrunningschoolsinthefieldofhighereducationandvocationaleducation,andencouragesChineseinstitutionsofhigherlearningtocooperatewithrenow

7、nedforeigninstitutionsofhigherlearninginrunningschools.Article4ThelegalrightsandinterestsofChineseandforeigncooperatorsinrunningschoolsandofChinese-foreigncooperatively-runschoolsshallbeprotectedbythelawsofChina.　　Chinese-foreigncooperatively-runschoolsshallenjoypreferential
