2、ynoticeable.Also,requirementsfromelectricityconsumersforhighersupplyreliability,excellentpowerqualityandsatisfactoryserviceshaveemerged.Inthisscenario,twomaincharacteristicsofChinesepowergridsarededuced.Thefirstoneisthatthegridswillremainthetrendofrapiddevelopmentforalongperiodoftime.The
3、secondoneisthatChinesepowergridmusttaketheroadofconstructingstronggrids.ThesestronggridshaveUHVgridsastheirbackbonesandaresupportedbycoordinateddevelopmentofgridsatdifferentvoltagelevels.BasedontheanalysisofthenecessitiesandthebasicconditionsofsmartgriddevelopmentinChina,thepaperprovides
