4、sofexcessbodyweight;waistcircumference,waist-to-heightratioandbodymassindex/waistcircumferenceratio.Finally,thereporttrackstheprevalenceofobesityinNewZealandoverthelast36yearsbyanalysingdatafromhistoricnationalsurveys.Thereportusesdatacollectedbetween2011and2013aspartoftheNewZealandHealthSurvey.T

5、hepoolingofdataacrossyearswasenabledwhentheSurveybecamecontinuousin2011.TheSurveyprovidesavaluabledatasourcethatincludesarangeofhealthtopics,collectedfromabout13,000adultsandover4000childreneachyear.IlookforwardtofuturereleasesfromtheSurveythatwillprovidefurtherinsightintothehealthofNewZealanders
