1、ENERGYEFFICIENCYPROGRAMSUtahEnergy-EfficiencyResults2008In2007,theCompany’senergy-efficiencyeffortsfocusedprimarilyonsingle-familydwellingsandhadlimitedprogramsformulti-familyandsomecommercialcustomers.Consequently,inkeepingwithitscommitmenttoprovideenergy-efficiencyprogramsforallse

2、gmentsoftheGSrateclasstheCompanyimplementedin2008severalnewmeasuresforexistingprogramsandtwonewprograms.Thenewmeasuresandtwonewprogramsenhancedcustomerparticipation,increasedgassavingsandimprovedoverallcosteffectiveness.Mostofthenewmeasurestargetedthecommercialmarket.Oneofthenewprog

3、ramstargetedthemulti-familyresidentialmarketandtheotherwasanewcommercialprogram.ThenewmeasuresaddedtoexistingprogramswereintheThermWiseApplianceRebates,ThermWiseBuilderRebatesandThermWiseBusinessRebatesprogramsandaredescribedingreaterdetailbelow.ThetwonewprogramsincludedaThermWiseMu

4、lti-FamilyRebatesprogramandaThermWiseBusinessCustomRebatesprogramalsodescribedbelow.ThermWiseApplianceRebates.In2008theCompanycontinuedthisprogramwiththeadditionoftwonewmeasures.Thenewmeasureswere:1)high-efficiencygasboilers;and2)solarassistedgaswaterheating.Inaddition,theCompanymod

5、ifiedthestoragewaterheatermeasureeligibilityrequirementfrom0.63EF(EnergyFactor)to0.62EF,tomorecloselyalignwiththeavailabilityofwaterheatersofferedbyUtahretailersandHVACandplumbingcontractorsandinanticipationofapossibleENERGYSTARlabelingatthislevel.ThermWiseBuilderRebates.In2008theCo
